Our Mission

AUTODLE was founded by automotive enthusiast Luke Bates and the team at Helios Labs out of a profound passion for car culture, mechanical engineering, and interactive web puzzles. While word-guessing and geography puzzles captured the world's imagination, automotive enthusiasts were left longing for a dedicated challenge celebrating automotive history, aerodynamic innovations, and roaring cylinder counts.

We designed AUTODLE to bridge the gap between casual car spotters and hardcore gearheads. Whether you can recognize a Porsche 911 variant solely by its rear wing geometry or you simply enjoy learning about historic Le Mans winners and turbo legends, AUTODLE offers an educational, visually polished experience built for everyone.

Our dataset comprises over six decades of legendary road cars, homologation rally specials, track weapons, and grand tourers. Every single car profile includes rigorously verified specifications—including factory brake horsepower ratings, induction methods, curb weights, and historical context.

After every puzzle solve, players are presented with a deep historical overview detailing the engineers behind the car, pop-culture appearances, motorsport accolades, and unique mechanical quirks that make each machine special.

Built on Fast, Modern Cloud Architecture

AUTODLE is hosted globally on Cloudflare edge serverless workers, ensuring instantaneous sub-50ms page load times anywhere on Earth. We prioritize lightweight, zero-bloat code, privacy-respecting client local storage, and mobile-first responsive design.
